I am originally from Massachusetts, but I have also lived in Jacksonville, NC, and San Angelo, TX. I recently moved to Cameron, NC, with my husband, two kids, and three dogs. I attended the University of Maryland and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences with a minor in Spanish in 2016. I went on to obtain my Master of Science from East Carolina University in 2019.
I have experience working with pediatric populations in many settings, including in-home, daycare/preschool, clinic, and outpatient rehabilitation centers. I am passionate about working with children and families to assess and treat a wide variety of communication disorders. I have specific areas of experience in early intervention, articulation and phonological impairment, apraxia of speech, pediatric expressive-receptive language impairment, and pediatric feeding disorders. I love that my job allows me to work as a team with families to make positive changes and to make treatment a fun learning experience for kids. In my free time, I enjoy reading as well as travelling and camping with my family.
