Kat is a North Carolina native and current resident of Raleigh, where she lives with her husband Drew and dog Oakley. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English from North Carolina State University and her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at East Carolina University.

Kat has experience working with all ages but has a special interest in working with pediatrics. She has provided diagnostic and therapeutic services in a variety of settings including schools, community clinics, and private practice settings. Her areas of treatment include: expressive/receptive language delays, hearing loss, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation disorders, fluency disorders, augmentative and alternative communication devices, and phonological processing disorders. She is familiar with and has worked with a variety of diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, William’s Syndrome, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.

In Kat’s free time, you will find her singing on the worship team at her church, trying out new coffee shops, walking her dog, and hanging out with friends and family.
