Leigh Christian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders and a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from East Carolina University. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners.
Leigh worked in private practice for 12 years serving children in their homes, daycare and clinic. She specialized in early intervention working with children who had developmental delays, autism and down syndrome. For the past 3 years, Leigh has been working as a speech-language pathologist in the schools serving kindergarten through 12th grade. She is certified in the “It Takes Two to Talk” program.
Leigh lives in Clayton with her husband, two kids and two dogs.
