Stephanie is an Occupational Therapist who earned her Master of Occupational Therapy degree at Alvernia University in Reading, PA. She has worked with the pediatric population since 2016. Stephanie has experience treating children with a wide variety of Developmental Delays, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Chromosomal Disorders, Seizure Disorders, Cancer, and additional diagnoses.
Stephanie adores working with children and collaborates with the whole family. She believes in the importance of family involvement in treatment with an emphasis on family quality of life. The therapist-patient relationship is the foundation for all her treatment. She values the importance of rapport-building with the child for individualized care.
Stephanie has additional training in neurodevelopmental treatment, the DIR/floortime approach, and feeding therapy. She has experience helping children with self-care skills, fine motor skills, visual motor skills, visual perceptual skills, handwriting, pre-writing, play skills, emotional regulation, reflex integration, and motor coordination. Stephanie enjoys helping children regulate their sensory systems using a multisensory approach to improve engagement throughout all daily activities.
Stephanie is originally from Connecticut and moved to North Carolina in 2020. When she’s not working, she enjoys nature walks, volunteering in the community and church, and spending time with her husband and 3 dogs. She is excited to help children and their families reach their goals!
